Project Overview
Road Ready is a 3D driving simulation designed to educate new drivers on Philippine traffic laws.
Set in a digital recreation of Naga City, players must recognize and obey road signs under the supervision
of a strict "Virtual Instructor" NPC who provides real-time feedback and enforces penalties for violations.
Built as a Capstone Project using Unity and C#.
My Contributions
Game Design & Mechanics
- Mapped out driving routes specifically designed to teach and test knowledge of Philippine LTO road signs.
- Designed the "Virtual Instructor" system an NPC that gives real-time educational feedback and enforces traffic violation penalties.
- Sculpted a 5km² open-world terrain and populated it with 50+ 3D assets (buildings, trees, road props) to create
challenging, progressive driving routes that test knowledge of Philippine traffic laws.
- Engineered a dynamic game UI and car and levels selection system in Unity, while modeling 3D vehicles and
environmental assets to maximize immersion and replayability.
3D Modeling & Environment Art
- Modeled vehicle assets (cars) for player use and traffic simulation.
- Created organic environment assets houses, trees, and road infrastructure to populate the city.
- Built the environmental terrain, replicating the layout and feel of real Naga City streets for immersion.
